Quality Assurance and Software Tester

Like Xensam's own ambitions, the work as Quality Assurance and Software Tester goes far beyond just solving a problem as quickly and easily as possible. Since Xensam is a young company, the person responsible for QA and software testing needs to have the hands-on desire to solve the most difficult problems and improve all parts of Xensam's product portfolio.
Your job will not only be to solve today's problems related to software testing and QA, but also to build the processes that will become Xensam's pillar of QA during the company's ongoing expansion journey. You will have a chance to learn new technologies, impact the methologies and processes of QA/development and grow both personally and professionally.

Responsibilities:


· Test software solutions during product development
· Reporting software defects and work with development team to resolve them
· Documenting and communicating findings and software quality improvements/issues
· Designing a test strategy/test plan


Desired competence:
· Knowledge in common test design techniques
· Ability to think critically and to conduct testing with a tester mindset
· Excellent attention to details, problem solving skills and natural curiosity
· Experiences from working in Windows / Mac / Linux environments


Preferred but not essential:


· You have experience of both Test Automation and Test-driven development (TDD).
