​As Software is playing an increasingly greater role in enabling digital consumer experience, we are becoming more consumer-focused and agile, faster to respond to market demands and quicker in identifying new market opportunities.
As such, we are building the Digital Product Organization to deliver highly scalable services and world-class product experiences for our connected appliances.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be part of the Digital Quality Assurance within the Digital Product Organization and you will develop and test functions for the future connected appliances and services.
You will work for the Consumer App and System Integration development workstreams, which are part of the connected product development process. At Electrolux, the development and test of smart connected appliances occur with an agile approach, with stability and clarity on interfaces.
Responsibilities
· Software design and development for the smart appliance ecosystem
· Support for the validation and integration of new functions and services
· Design and development of automated tests
· Execution of tests and realization of related reports
· Co-ordinate activities with other company functions and with external partners.
Minimum Qualifications
· BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field
· Object-oriented analysis and design
· Software and/or system modeling
· Proficient in at least one of these programming languages: C/C++, C#, Java
· Software testing and validation techniques, unit testing, system testing, etc
· Knowledge of CI/CD
· Experience with versioning system, preferably Git and Git workflow
· Knowledge on computer networks, internetworking, and TCP/IP protocols
· Databases, Microsoft SQL Server, database programming, ADO.NET, T-SQL
· Web services and web applications;
· Skills on app development, either for Android or for iOS, are a plus
· Knowledge of Linux is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
· Willing to keep technical background always up-to-date, committed to technical excellence
· Team orientation and good communication skills: approachability and capability to give and receive constructive feedback and advice
· Open-minded and proactive approach, willing to work in a global multicultural organization
· Project management skills and problem-solving skills
