Quality Assurance Engineer

In joining us you will be an important part of our team from the very start. We are building a team of experienced Quality Engineers with industry background.
The Quality Assurance Engineer will be an expert in quality management which includes deep knowledge in quality systems, who have more than 3 years experiences with ISO9001, IATF16949 or VDA6,3&6,5 (especially IATF16949 or VDA). You will play an important role to establish the 9001/16949 Quality system and obtain the certification. You also lead and co-ordinate quality monitoring and reporting, issue and crisis management as well as proactive quality planning and improvement.
A part of your responsibility will be reviewing quality of new product and a close co-operation with every department especially for R&D, Production and Process Engineering to follow-up and improve to ensure a flawless transition into manufacture and supply.
In general, you have a long experience in quality management and have been driving large, innovative and challenging improvement projects internally and with external partners in the area of quality, six sigma, qualification & validation, improvements, efficiency and optimisation. Specifically, you have a deep understanding of working and cooperating cross-functionally in a multicultural environment with R&D, Production, Maintenance, Process Engineering and so on.
We wish you to be analytical and logical with an ability to identify opportunities and improvements to drive increased quality through data driven approaches. To succeed in this role you should have strong technical abilities.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Defining and producing the Quality Control plans for each process operation
• Set up quality monitoring procedures, quality KPI's, evaluate performance and make improvement proposals, i.e. process capability
• Co-ordinate quality gate reviews in the Product Development process from start to manufacturing of products
• Oversee the Quality Control and testing plan, review results and process performance and initiate improvement projects
• Lead trouble shooting and root cause analysis activities in relation to deviations and quality issues
• Expert in complex problem solving and process optimisation
• Collaborate closely with Customer quality engineers to deliver required input to customer projects
• Develop, implement and audit standard procedures and instructions
• Work across many parts of the organization, collaborating with business development, technical, design and development teams and external partners
• Lead the quality department to establish the correct and local based system certification

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
• MSc degree in Chemical/Manufacturing/Quality or related Engineering
• Education in relevant quality and industrialisation discipline
• Certified six sigma professional, i.e. green or black belt
• Knowledgeable in statistics and multivariat data analysis
• 5+ years of relevant work experience within New energy industry
• Experience of quality management in relevant industry, e.g. battery, automotive
• Proficient in quality system management, e.g. ISO 9001, IATF16949, TQM, VDA
• Experience in developing processes, standards, procedures and documentation in an efficient way to ensure high quality products to meet customer requirements
• Project management skills and a successful track record of leading quality improvement/six sigma projects in manufacturing and/or with suppliers
• Experience from developing training and certification procedures and programs, especially for the people who knows well the Swedish or European certification agency and Accredited Auditor
• Knowledgeable in Lean and six sigma
• Expert Quality troubleshooting tools and problem-solving methodology
• Curious, technically educated and preferably with a strong business background
