Mentice has a great multi-cultural R&D team with a passion for software and hardware development. They are now strengthening their team with a new role as Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE).

About the role

The main responsibility of the role is to maintain a consistently high quality level of the Mentice standard procedure portfolio, consisting of simulation solutions covering over 20 different types of generic endovascular treatments. This is achieved by hands-on testing of Mentice suite of software and simulators, by implementing and continuously improving product testing protocols for manual as well as automated tests, and by supporting the software development teams in building new products. The simulator solution consists of a special hardware unit, together with a large family of various software. The main focus will be on the software testing.

The QAE will also work with the Product Management team, verifying and identifying potential problems with already released products, and assisting in defining and verifying the requirements for future products.

The position is a fulltime employment reporting to the Director of Software Platform.

Responsibilities

- Plan, execute and document extensive testing of various Software/Hardware solutions.


- Maintaining highest possible quality level of the Mentice standard/generic product portfolio releases.


- Drive the implementation of software testing frameworks and technologies.


- Keeping synchronized with the Mentice Product Management team.


- Maintaining a solid clinical understanding of how our standard products are used, so they are tested in the right way.
