As the Quality Assurance (QA) Leader in the Quality Department in the automotive industry, the QA Leader role is critical in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to customers to maximize customer satisfaction. Responsible for overseeing the entire quality assurance process, the leader develops and implements quality control measures to meet industry standards and customer expectations. This involves creating and maintaining robust inspection procedures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential issues in the production process, and continuously improving quality management systems. The QA Leader’s leadership is pivotal in fostering a culture of quality consciousness among team members, promoting adherence to regulatory requirements, and driving initiatives for continuous improvement in product quality and reliability. With a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication, the manager plays a key role in upholding the reputation and success of the company.


Main tasks include but are not limited to
run and develop the quality department
develop goals and follow up on the business's goals consistent with other departments
coach the engineers to plan operations so to meet customer expectations
together with the rest of the department, strive for continuously developing the quality work
actively develop the individuals in the team
oversee the departments scheduling
ensure that health and safety are prioritized and be a cultural bearer of the company's values ​​and strategy
have the ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS) - promote QMS and its principles throughout the company - include day to day support and leadership and as well as work on continuous improvement
operate effectively with the applicable accreditation/certification bodies and regulatory authorities
participate in quality and regulatory discussions with external partners and customers
act as management representative as appointed from top management with the relevant letter


Competence and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or above on engineering or legal or similar education background.
At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
English skills in both spoken and written. Speaking Chinese or Swedish is a merit.
Have the ability to work independently and with high energy drive your area of responsibility forward in a structured and results-oriented way.
Solution-oriented and always strives for good collaborations and customers satisfaction.
Have strong leadership and organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles.
Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Demonstrable knowledge of quality management systems ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Quality problem solving skills and 8D report knowledge.
Knowledge of prevalent quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc.).
