<p>Avalanche Studios is the leading independent game developer in Sweden employing approximately 100 people. Our first game, Just Cause, was released in 2006 and has sold over 1 million copies worldwide. Released in March 2010 the follow-up, Just Cause 2, has already received rave reviews. Focused on original IP projects and high-profile licenses we are currently working on multiple high-end titles for PS3, XBOX and PC. </p> <p>Avalanche Studios is a technology focused company where it's important that our staff is feeling great and are having fun together. Furthermore you will work as part of a cross functional team together with some of the most talented and experienced individuals in the gaming industry. </p> <p>Avalanche Studios also owns Expansive Worlds who develop theHunter, the world's most realistic hunting simulator.</p> <p>We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to work with the quality of our games and lead the quality assurance team. Your first assignment would be to set all necessary routines and strategies for the Quality Assurance team.<br /> <br /> Responsibilites:</p> <ul> <li>Spreading expertise and good usage of tools such as bug-tracking database or versioning systems</li> <li>Make sure all test engineers are following the QA and submission strategies</li> <li>Package and physically deliver all builds to customers and other stakeholders</li> <li>Coordinate need dependencies and synergies between different teams</li> <li>Motivating and developing the test engineers</li> <li>Writing test strategies and lead development of the test plans</li> </ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Experienced in requirement analysis and management</li> <li>Experience from working as a Manager or Lead</li> <li>Experience from agile project processes is considered a merit</li> <li>Must be capable of leading and motivating a group of individuals</li> <li>Must be comfortable with common bug/defect tracking tools</li> <li>Some experience or intrest in game or game development is a must</li> </ul> <p>To apply for this position please register below with a detailed CV and cover letter telling us who you are.
