Quality Assurance Manager
Ensures that the processes and the organization implementing IT systems comply with quality policies.

Nature of tasks:
Plan, perform and manage reviews, assessment, and other quality control activities.
Document, analyze, report, and present the review and assessment results.
Advice, train and coach on related industry standards and best practices.
Plan, perform and manage quality improvements.
Develop and deploy quality policies, strategies, methodologies, and implementation plans.
Manage the implementation plans.
Document processes, work instructions, templates, and other necessary process documentation in collaboration with team members.

General competencies and skills:

Capability of defining and applying quality standards in the IT environment.
Excellent communication/writing skills.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Risk assessment and management.

Required proficiency in Information technologies:
Advanced knowledge of standards and methodologies one or more of the aforementioned areas.
Proficiency in one or more of the aforementioned areas.
Advanced knowledge and experience of Quality Management (Quality planning, assurance, control, and continuous improvement).
Knowledge of testing technologies, tools, and techniques.
Good knowledge of information system quality assurance and quality control practices.

Experience with quality procedures.
Quality Assurance Manager

Education and professional experience:
University degree with minimum 4 years of experience in IT OR non university degree with minimum 7 years of experience in IT.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in one or more of the aforementioned areas.

Certification and/or Standards:
Mandatory certification, issued by a third party over which the tenderer cannot exercise a decisive influence (one of):
ISO9001 Internal Auditor, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Lean Six Sigma, Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Software Quality Manager (CSQM), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) or equivalent.
Optional certifications: a) ITIL b) ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager or equivalent c)
Other certifications in the areas of expertise.
