Quality Assurance & Sourcing Specialist

We are now looking for a Quality Assurance & Sourcing Specialist to have the overall responsibility for setting relevant quality standards and methods for all product types, as well as carry out the sourcing needs identified for upcoming seasons.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Secure that quality level is as per business standard by securing wash- and wear tests as well as coordinating 3rd party testing
Manage development of quality or other product improvements
Coordinate the central certification follow up and execute requirements towards internal and external stakeholders
Secure correct and continuously updated sourcing documentation
Manage the sourcing method and documentation in Happy Sock’s Supplier Lifecycle Management framework
Coordinate the supplier “starting kit” with all relevant information necessary for starting a collaboration with Happy Socks. Triggering updates and signature rounds with related internal or external stakeholders
Onboard new suppliers outside the production office zone and coordinate the onboarding through production office colleagues in Turkey and Asia
Drive innovation connected to sourcing on both component and product level
Participate in yearly supplier performance evaluations, giving input on R&D capabilities, service level, quality claim rating as well as general quality management and certification scheme performance and/or audit results.



Requirements & Skills
Textile engineer education
Knowledge and experience of textile production
At least 3 years’ experience of a similar position (socks and/or underwear is a plus)
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Proficient in Microsoft Office
