Arbetsbeskrivning
The candidate will report to Head of Quality & Compliance Division but will actively support the sub-projects to work with Quality Control activities such as:
- Responsible for compliance reviews on technical documents.
- Provide regulatory and technical advice to the projects and organisation.
- Review and approve the overall Quality control/inspection plans for the project.
- Review and manage external providers Quality Control routines.
- Perform installation inspections in close collaboration with the Installation team and Work package Managers.
- Coordinate Non-Destructive Testing activities.
- Participate in FAT and SAT on deliverables at providers premises.
- Perform pre-shipment or receiving inspections on project deliveries, at supplier or on arrival.
- Compile technical documentation related to Quality records.
Travels to providers and vendors are part of the expected scope based on need from sub-projects.
Succesful candidates should have:
Deep knowledge in European directives, especially:
- Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) (2014/68/EU)
- Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC)
and related National codes is seen as a must.
Knowledge in welding and related ISO 3834-2 is seen as an advantage.
At least 6-8 years of work experience in the field of Quality Control within the mechanical domain.
Your focus is on customer needs and satisfaction and you monitor and maintain a high level of quality and productivity in your deliveries. Excellent oral and written English skills and a well-developed ability for both collaborative and independent work are expected.
If you have experience of working with high-speed rotating components such as compressors turbines etc. that is considered as a major advantage. Experience from working in highly regulated businesses such as nuclear industry, life science, oil&gas it is also seen as a fundamental background.
