Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Quality Control Manager. In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large-scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon-free society, and this is your opportunity to take part in leading those efforts and help drive us to success.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Plan, develop, and coordinate quality control activities for company’s prototype facility
Lead the team of quality inspectors and technicians
Lead Project line investigations by providing RCCA methodology
Own the quality control area at prototype lab including the equipment
Ensure that the quality measurement machines and tools are well kept and calibrated
Achieve efficient quality control and inspection of incoming material
Develop, implement, and audit standard procedures and instructions
Ensure that quality area is properly prepared for internal, customer, and/or third-party audits and ensures audits are properly managed.
Interface with supplier quality department on supplier related issues
Retain good knowledge of Northvolt Systems Quality Management System and enable
successful implementation and continued certification of ISO 9001 and other relevant standards
Provide leadership and technical expertise within Quality Control
Qualifications/education/experience
MSc in e.g. Industrial/Mechanical engineering
5+ years’ experience in leadership role in the field of quality management
Experience of implementing Quality Management Systems and standards
Experience of Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
Experience of developing processes, standards, procedures, and documentation to support efficient Quality Management
Specific skills:
Good English written and oral skills
Highly organized and results driven with an eye for detail
Proactive and goes beyond expectations
Good kknowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and/or other relevant standards
Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
Ability to work in an international environment
