We are now looking for a Quality Control manager for our QC Chemistry Raw Material (RM) team at Galderma in Uppsala, with responsibilities for chemical, physical and molecular testing of incoming materials, raw materials, utilities and toxin drug substance.

Responsibilities

As QC chemistry manager in the RM team you will be part of the QC leadership team and will report to Manager Quality Control. You have personnel responsibility for the RM team consisting of around 10 employees, and you are expected to define and set appropriate objectives and KPIs for your team. You will ensure that all QC operations are performed in compliance with applicable standards, regulations and global company policies and procedures. You will continuously develop the lab operations to increase efficiency and meet agreed deliveries. As manager, you are responsible for resource management, staff planning, and for contributing to the financial budget work.

Requirements

We are looking for a communicative and driven leader with around 2-3 years of experience from a similar role in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry. Furthermore you:

Have a university degree in Analytical chemistry or similar

Have documented knowledge in ISO13485; 21CFR820 (QSR) or equivalent
*

Are experienced with computerized analytical environment and data integrity compliance
*

Are fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English

To thrive in this role, you lead by example, have a passion for quality control, and enjoy facilitating the work within a quality control laboratory setting.
