Quality Control - Product Inspection Technician

Northvolt has an exciting opportunity for a QC product inspectionTechnician to join our bold team and play a key role in evaluating the product quality in our R&D facility for Northvolt prototype production and development of Li-ion battery cells.
In your role you will perform the microscope and dimensional checks of electrodes and other critical characteristics of the product. You may also perform mechanical testing such as tensile testing and weld inspections.
You will be running the examinations, interpret the data and report the results. In case of non-conformities and out od specification results you are responsible for escalating to Quality and Production management. You will also write and improve standard operation procedures. To maintain the instruments to a high standard is also part of your role.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Executing inspections in an effective manner, following standard operation procedures
Interpret and report data/results
Write standard operation procedures
Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration of instruments and equipment

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
Technical school degree
5 years of relevant work experience in relevant laboratory environment
Experience from quality control, preferable from assembly operations
Experience from sample handling and preparation
Experience from NDT of welds and mechanical testing such as tensile and hardness testing.

Specific Skills/Abilities
Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus
Highly organized and results driven
An eye for detail
Proactive and goes beyond expectations
Able to learn and acquire new information very quickly
