In this role you will be part of HVDC, a business line ABB Power Grids. The Quality team is dedicated to implementing a culture and practice of excellence throughout the entire value chain of the organization, to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitability in a sustainable way. We are now building up a new quality control function with a task force to handle prioritized actions and issues. This is a role with many interfaces (supply, quality, and delivery projects) and interesting work tasks. Welcome to apply!
Your responsibilities
Supplier Quality Control - to assure quality before delivery of equipment and material, packing for transportation and similar
Perform quality audits of suppliers
Failure investigations and Root Cause Analysis as well as drive and support suppliers in their process
Analyze and write reports of deliveries in Swedish and English

Your background
A Bachelor’s degree within engineering or corresponding work life experience
You need to have minimum 3 - 5 of practical experience within the responsibility areas
Communication in Swedish and English is a pre-requisite to be successful in the role
You are a certified auditor or have experience of doing audits.
LeanSixSigma Green Belt
Ability to travel approx. twice a month
You will communicate with several people at different levels in the organization. Good communication skills are therefore important.
You collaborate to achieve results but can also work independently. In this role you will work on the most prioritized issues/tasks and use the competences/resources needed in the specific case but when required able to work on your own
You are analytic, a team player, driven and result oriented
