We are looking for a Quality Coordinator to join PDG Gateway to work with one of our products in 5G Core, Packet Core Gateway (PCG). You will be a guardian for our quality principles and that we follow them and be part of the PCG release program where you collaborate with several other leaders and development teams, as well as have an interface towards the Support organization within Packet Core. 5G is being massively rolled out during 2021 and product quality is a very important and vital part of this roll-out. You will work with teams primarily located in Sweden, China, Spain, India and Hungary. You will report to the Head of Gateway Continuous Integration & Delivery, located in Gothenburg.
You will
Ensure shared understanding on a product level of defect trends and driving factors, by analyzing internal and external defects, test coverage and customer critical issues
Evaluate customer defects and possibly initiate Root Cause Analysis and feedback lessons to the development organization
Identify and manage quality improvement actions on product level to secure that the product, including 2PP/3PP, reach the quality targets set in cooperation with the System Owner and other partners
Proactively suggest actions to prevent quality degradations
Continuously drive risk analysis related to scope cuts, technical debt, existing defects, deviations and limits in test and/or design scope that could affect the products architecture and performance
Chair and run meetings related to product defects
Present product quality status and forecast in the product operational update and similar forums
To be successful in the role you must have
Ability to quickly involve key people and ensure fast response to changes
Result focus and take proactive decisions and follow through
Experience in project management in a Lean and Agile world and be well organized
Experience and good understanding of R&D and SW development
Good listening and analyzing skills and enjoy cooperating with others
Excellent communication skills and ability to speak & write English fluently
