Getinge Group is in an exciting and intensive period of change and we are recruiting two Quality Engineers for Getinge Disinfection, which is part of Getinge group. You will be a key player when it comes to ensuring compliance to regulations and participating in important improvement initiatives. We are reviewing our internal Quality System and at the same time we are also being integrated into the global organization. Depending on your background, you will have different focus areas. The position
The primary purpose of as a Quality Engineer at Getinge is to maintain quality assurance processes, procedures and controls to ensure that performance and quality of products is conformed. One of the roles will focus more on the quality system while the other one will be more involved in coordinating and checking effectiveness of CAPA (corrective and preventive actions) and Complaint work together with the Quality team on site.
Main responsibilities and tasks for the roles will be:
Quality System:
• Maintain and implement quality procedures
• Build Quality into all aspects of the work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements
• Perform Education
• Work in project to improve quality system
Quality Assurance and CAPA:
• Statistical analysis of quality data
• Knowledge on different statistical tools for root cause analysis
• Perform and communicate root cause analysis
• Make investigations for CAPA and field actions
• Coordinate, follow up and ensure effectiveness
The position is located in Växjö and will report directly to the Quality Manager for the site. International travel may be part of this role to a limited extent.
The ideal candidate
As ideal for the position you have the following key characteristics:
• Bachelor’s degree in science, quality, engineering or similar
• Minimum 5 years’ related experience working with Quality Assurance in a regulated manufacturing industry
• Bachelor Degree in Science or Engineering
• Previous background from medical devices or life science is favorable
• Strong knowledge and experience in 21 CFR part 820, ISO 13485 and other related regulatory requirements is beneficial
• Successful interactions and experience with regulatory agencies
• Good knowledge of statistics and practical application of the QSR
• Good knowledge in project leading
• Fluent spoken and written Swedish and English is necessary
