WORK DESCRIPTION:
In the role as quality engineer at PCB Connect AB, you are expected to handle and administrate claims and complaints reported from customers and/or internally within the organization. We also expect that you have good analyzing skills in order work proactively with quality improvements. Technical and environmental related tasks might also be applicable as well as other general quality system related activities. Your daily work is mainly controlled from Sweden but since we are a global company you will have contact with customers, colleagues and/ or suppliers in different part of the world.
Examples of tasks are:
- Administration of claims and complaints according to existing process documentation.
- Analyze claims and complaints both concerning each individual errand as well as analyze of trends, performance vs targets and root causes.
- Communicate and collaborate with customers in terms of technical issues and production.
- Communicate and collaborate with the customer regarding general technical consultation for PCB design and/or production.
- Assist with CAM related activities and technical questions towards customer.
- Answer environmental related requests or questions from customer related to applicable laws and/or PCB Production such as Reach, Rohs and Conflict minerals.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
• Good competence concerning PCB manufacturing and production standards within IPC 6010 series.
• Experience from CAM related activities and applicable systems such as CAM 350, Genesis or similar.
• Good competence concerning failure types according to IPC 600.
• Knowledge about circuit board assemblies.
• Knowledge about PCB Design
• Good knowledge regarding claim and complaints administration, 8D report, failure and root cause analysis etc.
• Strong customer and service focus and understanding of the importance of solving the problem based on the customer situation.
• Ability to take responsibility for own work
• Knowledge about applicable environmental legislations like Rohs, Reach, 3TGs
QUALIFYING QUALIFICATIONS, HOWEVER, NO REQUIREMENT
• Drivers license
• Experience in direct work within PCB Production, electronic design, and/or electronic manufacturing.
• Experience within deviation and claim/complaint handling within the electronics industry.
• Experience from working with Internal audits.
• Experience from working with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
