Alfa Laval in Ronneby is looking for a Quality Engineer

About the job

Alfa Laval in Ronneby is one of four sites for production of copper brazed (BHE) and fusion bonded heat exchangers (FHE) used in several customer applications, such as heat pumps, air conditioning, district heating and oil cooling. Additional product included in the portfolio is ALICS, Alfa Laval Integrated Cooling System, for cooling applications within marine segment.

Pressing of stainless-steel plates, vacuum brazing, testing and different types of welding are the main production processes for BHE/FHE, all characterized by an increasing level of automation.

The corresponding ones for ALICS are casting, machining and surface treatment of aluminum parts at suppliers (EU, Asia, USA) as well as assembly and testing at our subcontractor in Höör, Sweden. Regular travelling to the subcontractor is part of the job.

As a Quality Engineer, you will mainly be responsible for

developing and applying the activities needed to continuously increase the quality of products in order to meet customer expectations and agreements.

You will lead and coordinate cross-functional projects/activities with participants from different functions within the organization as well as customers and suppliers.

As a member of the Quality team, you support the organization in some segments of APQP/PPAP process, FMEA, Control Plans, capability studies, FAT/SAT criteria, Q-KPI management.  

What you know
* Project Management
* LEAN Six Sigma
* Competence within casting, machining, surface treatment preferable
* Min bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Fluency in Swedish and English.
