Quality Engineer

We are now offering an exciting role as Quality Engineer at our Quality department in Falkenberg.
As Quality Engineer you are responsible for monitoring legislation concerning foodstuff and to make sure that all applicable quality and food safety standards are being met throughout the packaging department and logistics chain. As Quality Engineer your days are also filled with improvement tasks, such as drive the improvement opportunities and ensure full RCA is determined if any incidents occur, drive internal audits and support different kind of innovation plans. The position is a permanent full-time employment based in Falkenberg.
Other day to day tasks:
Ensure that Quality performance, risk and opportunities are clearly understood and acted on appropriately
Manage Packaging material specifications, ensuring they are up to date
Ensure verifications, validations and trials in Packaging department are executed in line with Quality protocols
Provide internal reports with defined frequency (weekly, monthly…)
Participate as Packaging Quality expert in NPD (New Product Development) forum and collaborate on projects with Innovation and Product Change departments
Provide answers on customers’ and consumers’ requests (self-assessments, questionnaires, questions)
Issue certificates for customers (internal/external)
Create new reports from SAP/BI
Ensure SOPs and training is completed for any new work

What do we expect from you?
You have technical education with high school degree and at least 3 years’ experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Assurance, and IT systems. We are looking for you who has expertise knowledge within the functional area: packaging and great knowledge in quality and food safety systems (ISO and GFSI).
To be the perfect match for this position you have strong leadership skills with a proven record of change management in driving quality improvements. You have great communication skills and are ambitious and engaged to challenge and push forward. We think that you have very good analytical skills and are highly structured with a systematic workflow. To be the right person for this role, you have good knowledge in Swedish and English (spoken and written) and have the capability to make risk assessment based on decisions.
