Quality Engineer

About the role
We are looking for a Quality engineer to join the operations team and help further develop the internal procedures and processes to maintain high quality standards. As our Quality Engineer you will be based at our assembly facility in Stockholm, and work closely together with operators and production engineering towards making the best bikes in the world. You will have the opportunity to, from the beginning, be a part of and make a real impact on the build up of our production system.
We are aiming to fill the role with an independent, analytical and self motivated problem solver who is solution oriented while maintaining control over the details. Good communication skills are a must, along with being a good team player.
To succeed you likely have some years experience from working with in-process quality assurance and the related tools for that, and have a nose for continuous improvements.
Some qualifications we think you have
Bachelor in mechanical or industrial engineering or similar is preferred or corresponding on-the-job training and experience
Experience working with continuous improvements, proactive quality planning (APQP or similar) in the manufacturing industry preferably as Quality Engineer or similar
Familiarity of root cause analysis
Experience working with PFMEA and control plan
Good understanding of technical documentation
Familiarity with statistical analysis
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Fluent in Swedish (speaking and writing)

Responsibilities
Process owner for incoming inspection process
Process owner for in process and final quality control
Performing and updating PFMEA for internal processes
Updating internal control plan
Assist in or lead root cause analysis
Review and evaluate quality impact of product changes
Support Final Quality Control operators
Document and report Supplier quality deviations
Coordinate sorting and rework activities for Supplier deviations
Implementing and improving traceability system
Provide design input from quality perspective
Facilitate external and internal audits
