Quality Engineer

At UMS Skeldar, we are currently in an expansive phase where we are putting in another gear to increase the pace of development and production of our systems. Skeldar V-200 is a UAS platform adapted for the military and civilian market worldwide. As a result of additional customer contracts, we are now expanding our quality team with a Quality Engineer. The team is responsible for the quality-related issues that arise related to the product, suppliers and handling of spare parts. They are also responsible for the company's quality management system and work to constantly continue to develop this as our company growing, and more people are joining us. In the role of Quality Engineer, we are looking for an accurate person who is driven by delivering with high quality. This role is suitable for those who have experience in manufacturing operations and have previous experience of ISO 9001.

The quality team currently consists of 7 people where 4 are located in Switzerland and 3 in Sweden. The team has a fast pace where tasks and priorities can change quickly. As a Quality Engineer, your main tasks will be to ensure that internal and external requirements are met according to the standard we work according to. You will work with the development of processes and perform quality inspections in production and manufacturing. In addition to this, you will take great responsibility when it comes to contact with our subcontractors. We are looking for a person with a technical background or experience from manufacturing companies where you have worked actively to pursue quality issues.

Tasks

- Work within the entire production flow to ensure that internal and external components, processes and finished products meet set requirements

- Quality controls during all production and manufacturing stages of UMS Skeldar's products and components

- Initiate and drive the establishment of new and improvement of old processes and working methods

- Be part of the internal audit team

- Belong to the internal, as well as external Fault Management system which means communication with suppliers and subcontractors

- Facilitate continuous improvement activities

Requirement profile

- University of Technology degree

- At least 2 years of work experience in working quality issues

- Experience of participating in internal and external audits

- Knowledge in SQE, 8D processes and experience with QMS

- Meritorious: experience in quality assurance of software

- Key features of this position are: Collaborative skills, Accurate, Self-sustaining and Problem-solving

- For this position, high demands are placed on both English and Swedish in speech and writing.

Workplace: Linköping, travel domestically as well as internationally may occur.
