Scania's transmission assembly currently produces gearboxes and axles for Scania's chassis assemblies in Zwolle, Angers and Södertälje as well as gearboxes for MAN in Europe. Your role
As a quality engineer you will work in a close cooperation with our production organisation and support functions. You will be part of our quality engineering department DTQT where you as quality engineer will be one of our leaders when we develop and secures our quality related processes. Examples tasks:
• Manage and develop our quality release processes used when Scania delivers components to external costumers. Previous experience from working with quality assurance systems and methods such as PPAP and APQP is an advantage.
• Work with Scania quality road map where you will lead the development of quality engineering tools with the purpose of creating effective and efficient processes and standards to support Scania´s Production and Logistics organisation.
• Support risk assessments in product development process; such as Process FMEA.
• Lead the development of new quality related processes together with our external partners within the Traton group.
• Collaborate in a cross functional team with engineering and industrialisation to secure that our quality standards are in place when developing our processes.
• Secure compliance and assist with adherence to our quality management system to ensure the system is used in an efficient and correct way within our organisation. Previous experience from working with IS09001/TS16949 is an advantage.
• Develop and propose new methods for analysing systems and processes within our production unit.
• Support and participate in process improvement activities.
Since you will work close with production, support functions and our partner factories within the Traton group you will quickly learn a lot about all our processes and the products which we are producing. The position requires cross functional work with a lot of international contacts with partners in several different parts of the world.

Your profile
To succeed in this role we believe that you have a passion for the field of quality engineering. You are used to work in a cross functional and international environment and take lead when working with process evaluation and development. You are highly organized and have a structured and analytic mindset with strong problem solving skills. Previous experience from PPAP, ISO9001/TS16949 and Scania´s SPS-system is an advantage.
You have at last 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar field.
Since the position requires a lot of international contacts you need to be fluent in written and spoken English.
