At Traction Battery System, we are passionate! The section is responsible for developing the high voltage battery systems. We are the core competence centre in Northern Europe in regard to Li-ion technology and automotive battery systems.
We are now looking for someone to expand our Battery Cell and Module team! As Quality Engineer for the Battery Cell and Module you will lead and align the quality activities for Battery Cells and Battery Cell Modules.
What you’ll do
You will be the first point of contact for quality related issues occurring after production sign off at the manufacturing sites internally and at suppliers. In order to do so you will have close contact with Current Model Quality (CMQ), Supplier Quality Management (SQM) and the quality and manufacturing responsible at our suppliers. You will manage recurrent quality meetings with the different suppliers, follow up progress of open issues and delegate new issues to be solved to the correct Cell or Battery Module Engineer.
You will also work with preventive quality tasks such as initiate and lead cell and module quality history review and lessons learned, follow up quality trends, support SQM during production sign off (R@R), audits and supplier sourcing. You will lead quality improving activities, develop global analysis standards and propose feasible quality levels for new projects in cooperation with Future Model Quality team.
In addition, you will follow up DID/DTC implementations in the battery software to ensure correct use of the cell.
Do you fit the profile?
We see that you have at least a master’s degree in chemistry, material science, mechanical engineering or equivalent. You possess strong knowledge of Li-ion battery design technology and experience from cell, module or battery production. You have experience of supplier/OEM communication and/or experience from automotive industry is beneficial.
As a person, you have high integrity, professionalism, you are open to share your knowledge and experience with your colleagues and you are very adaptable. You need to possess strong analytical skills and have a problem-solving approach throughout the working process. To success in this role, we see that you have worked in developing projects and that you are comfortable taking the lead. You are a reliable team player with excellent communication skills. A positive mind-set and inner motivation will be keys to excel but taking initiatives and having a self-drive will give you additional power to fully succeed!
You are fluent in English (written and spoken) and holds a driver`s license B.
