The role

At Oatly we hold quality very high, this is an opportunity to join a growing team, working closely with both different internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

As our QA Engineer Co-packers, you will have an important mission to assure the quality of our external production sites, and secure good quality standard in processes and products. All according to overall Oatly standards, EU and local legislation. You will be a part of creating a global quality manual as well as implementing global processes and system.

This means that you will:

- Secure Oatly quality standard when sourcing and implementing new manufacturers or external produced products.
- Secure continuously improvements at external production sites.
- Be responsible for sampling plan of co-packed products according to risk analysis.
- Be a QA resource in new products, product life cycle projects and expansion plans.
- Plan and perform audits and secure documentation with applicable laws/regulations, verification of HACCP plans and other standards.
- Secure follow-up with co-packers regarding complaints, deviations and improvement projects.
- Provide support on customer/consumer issues or questions.
- Lead or support in trouble shooting, using RCA-methodology.


The position is placed in Landskrona and will require some travelling to different manufacturing/supplier locations. QA Engineer Co-packers reports to Sourcing QA Manager.

WHO YOU ARE

Besides being a person who is passionate about food safety, quality and sustainability and find it inspiring to work together with others you also have a proven track record of improvement driven work. As a person you are analytic, cooperative and you know how to prioritize and lead your work.

We also hope to see that you check the following boxes:

- You have a Bachelor´s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, biology, chemistry or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years working in the food industry with quality management.
- Good knowledge of food chemistry, process technology and food hygiene/microbiology.
- Experience from auditing, using BRC or/and ISO standards.
- Experience from working with risk analysis and HACCP.
- Knowledge of Food Safety legislation.
- Excellent English skills, verbally and written.
