In this diverse role as a Quality engineer, you will enjoy a wide range of responsibilities and have ample opportunities for customer interaction and cross-departmental collaboration. You will play a vital role in the entire manufacturing flow, from prototype and product development to customer delivery. Our quality team comprises four quality engineers, three quality technicians, and one SHE specialist. Key Responsibilities:

* Identify quality deficiencies in manufacturing and lead continuous improvement projects.
* Maintain ongoing communication and follow-ups with customers.
* Perform customer and cost analyses and drive improvement projects based on findings:
* Conduct internal, customer, and third-party audits.
* Develop and establish routines and processes.
* Provide support and coaching to production managers regarding quality work.
* Collaborate with the team to consistently enhance quality practices.



Who are you?

The ideal candidate for this role as a Quality engineer should possess a strong background in quality work within a manufacturing setting, such as experience as a quality engineer or in a similar role.
You should demonstrate a strong knowledge of ISO9001, and having familiarity with IRIS would be highly regarded as a valuable asset. Furthermore, possessing knowledge of EMS processes and IPC standards would be advantageous.

We are looking for someone who can contribute to our ongoing journey by raising our quality standards and improving our processes. We would be delighted if you have:

* Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for effective collaboration with the internal and external contacts.
* A relevant college or university education is desired, and prior experience in quality work would be beneficial.
* Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies is expected, along with excellent problem-solving abilities.
* The ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment with regular customer interaction is crucial. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required as it is our corporate language. We also think you need to communicate in Swedish with your team members in Västerås
