Quality engineer with a strong interest in communication solution projects wanted for Saab AB in Arboga.



Your role

Quality Engineering is a part of the project team and can be delegated the responsibility of: risk management, planning overview, change management, requirement analysis etc. In addition, you will be part of the department quality assuring measures like project, -process, -third party audits and follow up statistics. Drive the corrective and preventive actions about quality assurance.

In addition, you will be involved in the continuous improvements projects and taking part in and possibly driving different initiatives on the organizational development. You will be part of different project teams and the department TQM (Total Quality Management) team.



The main tasks are:

* Support Project Managers in all quality related issues within projects
* Planning, execution and monitoring of relevant quality efforts within projects, such as adherence to processes and quality assurance of technical reviews
* Identification and definition of preventive and corrective actions
* Approve, or if necessary reject, deliveries to internal and external stakeholders
* Initiate and drive quality initiatives within the projects as well as capture lessons learned



Your role

You have a technical background with experience from development projects.

You have a genuine interest regarding quality assurance and operational excellence as well as continuous improvements.

We think that you should have a well-developed drive and integrity, in order to fulfil the role as Quality engineer, since some quality actions may be challenging. You have a coaching approach with good skills in change management and improvements.
Your ability to communicate internally and networking is essential. You are accurate and structured person with the ability to be analytic. You have a holistic view in complex technical design structures and dependencies.



Required skills:

* Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or other relevant College education
* Experience from development of complex systems
* Good language skills in Swedish and English, verbally and in writing
* Excellent communication skills as enabler for successful co-operation and teamwork
* You are curious and have a driving force to learn



Desired skills:

* Experience within quality management and/or operational excellence
* Audit experience and/or experience from improvement work
* Experience within quality management and/or operational excellence



This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.

Your role

Communication and tactical Solutions is responsible for the design of technical and robust solutions and infrastructure utilizing networks, radio, and satellite communication technologies.
