Quality Engineer - Operations Department

JOB DESCRIPTION As Quality Engineer at Axis you will play an important role in the Quality & Environment team organised in the Operations department.In your role you will work closely with R&D and our Purchasing department in the product development projects making sure that our supply chain can deliver to the high quality standards that we demand.You will collaborate with our contract manufacturers to ensure continuous improvement of their manufacturing processes and you will cooperate with our Support organization, R&D and our suppliers driving activities to improve the quality of our existing product portfolio.Another important task will be to perform supplier evaluations of new and existing suppliers.Since Axis is a global organisation, you will work in an international setting, performing these evaluations on suppliers all around the world.The role demands approximately 50 days of travelling per year.JOB QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a structured, service-minded and driven individual with a technical university degree or similar.We believe you have a couple of years experience from quality assurance work in an international organization working with manufacturing and/or product development projects.Furthermore we believe you have: Knowledge of basic quality management tools (eg.FMEA and SPC) Strong communication skills in English and Swedish Excellent ability to collaborate across organizational borders An analytical mindset WHAT CAN AXIS DO FOR YOU?In exchange for your dedication Axis can offer you an innovative and global organization that take great pride in delivering world class, high quality products to our customers.Working with us gives you an excellent opportunity to develop in an organization promoting professional and individual growth.Come join us!READY TO ACT?Axis is a company realizing the benefits of a diverse workforce.We know that diversity in groups creates a better working environment and promotes creativity, something that is fundamental for our success.We review applications continuously!
