Quality Engineer with focus on electronic production Uppsala

Your new position:
At Unibap you will as a Quality Engineer focus on production, mainly of electronic boards. You will be responsible for follow up on production of both class 2 and class 3 production. You will have contact with suppliers and manufacturers and handle quality control mainly for our space products. You will also work as part of a project team when a project requires a Quality Engineer.

You will work and handle the company configuration management system for our products and be responsible for our PQA plan.

Main tasks:

- Quality Assurance focusing on electronic production
- PQA-plan responsible
- Configuration management


Secondary tasks:

- Support projects with quality requirements,
- Contribute to improving the quality management system and its processes at Unibap


We have a great focus on project synergies, technical reuse and building a long-term relationship with both our suppliers and our customers. And, with the quality control work, contribute to Unibap’s product portfolio.

Our products produced mainly belong to the Space area, but there might be some production that belong in our Industry domain as well. As we still are a young company you will also work with improving our ways of working with production and quality assurance in the company.

You will report to our Quality manager and cooperate with our CTO and Sales as well as project managers.

Your background:
Your background is most likely within engineering, preferably hardware engineering.

We believe you have worked a few years with QA and production. You have fundamental skills in electronics, setting goals, managing subcontractors, handling PQA plans, and can use a combination of management skills and coaching to achieve a good result within your area of expertise.

Main desired skill set:

- Quality Assurance work

- IPC standards
- Fluent in Swedish
- Good command of English language
- Driver’s license

- Space domain knowledge
