Ahlstrom-Munksjö Falun AB develops and produces high quality materials and filter products for laboratories, life science and health care. Our products carry a strong global brand, Munktell, established already 1815. Some products are included in medical devices and diagnostical solutions. The company has 35 employees at two local production sites, Falun and Grycksbo.

Job overview
Maintain and improve our quality control systems to comply with standards, certificates, customer and legal requirements. Drive continuous improvement and lean actions and move our local operations towards a culture of proactive work safety, sustainability and high level quality assurance. To propose, lead and monitor the implementation of health, safety and environment (HSE) policies, procedures and action plans relating to products, people, property, equipment and machinery. Liaise and interact with the corporate global HSE, Quality and operations network. Quality and HSE Manager is part of the local plant management team.

Key responsibilites
• Maintenance and improve the Quality Management system and third-party certifications (ISO 9001, 14 001, 45 001, 13 485 and MDD) by ensuring the compliance with all site procedures.
• To establish and continuously develop the HSE management system (means, methods, resources, documents) to comply with national legislation and Ahlstrom-Munksjö health, safety and environment policies and guidelines.
• To define and implement the health, safety and environment objectives and action plans and coordinate continuous improvement actions.
• Perform regular internal and external audits (customers, suppliers, third-party certification).
• To provide the local team with HSE related information, knowledge, training, support and control.
• To evaluate the consequences of changes on health, safety and environment and adjust the organization, documentation, training, technical modifications and suppliers etc. accordingly.
• To collaborate and manage the relations with the health, safety and environment authorities and external service providers.
• To provide the local team with ISO system related information, knowledge, training, support and control.
• Develop personal leadership and functional competency to achieve high customer value in alignment with AM strategies, core values and leadership principles

Needed experience & competencies
• University degree, M.Sc in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations Management, Occupational Health or similar.
• Some years of independent work experience as Quality Manager/Engineer, HSE Manager, etc.
• Fluent in speaking and writing Swedish and English. Entitled to work permanently in Sweden.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong skills in written,verbal and interpersonal communications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office platform.
• Some international travel is required.
