The Quality Control team within Tetra Pak Processing Production Centre Lund is a highly dedicated and quality focused team, responsible for an area that ranges from quality control, pressure testing and inspection of incoming goods and ongoing production in our workshop.
We are now looking for a new Quality Inspector with specific skills in welding quality. In this role you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with interesting and varying tasks. Many of your assignments include frequent interactions with other colleagues such as welders and assemblers.
What you will do
You will focus on:
Securing that relevant pressure vessel requirements are implemented and understood.
Weld and dimension inspection of tanks and vessels according to drawings.
Visual inspection of goods and in production (mainly weld inspections).
Documentation and report writing (e.g. SOP:s and supplier claim reports).
Preventive quality support, participation in quality project, WCM teams and investigations
This position will be located in Lund, but you will work in a global arena.
Who you are
We are looking for a quality focused and responsible person with a high degree of integrity and a talent to collaborate and work in teams. You need to be clear in your communication, both verbally and in writing, and you should not fear to make inconvenient decisions. High accuracy is a basic requirement as well as a professional response to both colleagues, suppliers and customers. An interest and experience of working as Team leader is an advantage.
To be successful in this position, you have at least three years of experience from working with quality in manufacturing industry, preferably within the food industry and have deep knowledge in SS-EN ISO 5817 and PED. We believe that you, as a minimum, have a post-secondary technical education and experience from quality control and welding manufacturing. Experience from WCM, technique of measurement, Visual Testing level II and SAP R/3 is an advantage. The position requires that you have excellent communication skills both verbally and written in Swedish and in English.
