Your new job
We’re looking for a Quality Inspector who wants to take on the responsibility of quality control of installation works in projects on our windfarm construction sites throughout the Nordics.
The Quality Inspector Installation Works is responsible for checking the work of the installation teams, from goods receiving of the individual WEC-components on the construction site up to the finalization of installation works and handover of the WEC to ENERCON Service Centre. Such quality control is done according to the general ITP for installation works (IW) and ends with the coordination of takeover of the IW from the installation team.
The Quality Inspector is the “eye” on the construction site to be a valuable partner for the Supervisor Installation Works and Construction Manager pointing out unusual proceedings which might lead to delays, quality or safety issues.
The role requires a very organized and proactive approach, combined with a strong attention to detail, high level of initiative, and ability to multi-task.
Short overview of the tasks:
Ensuring compliance with the specifications from the current assembly instructions at installation team level
Identification of installation quality deficiencies and proactive support to the corrective measures
Monitoring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
Recording and processing non-conformities and monitoring their completion on site
Complete quality control documentation
Checking and filling construction journals, assembly and repair reports
Complete handover procedure to local service departments

This is a permanent role, based in Sweden but will include travels to different construction sites in Sweden but also sites throughout the Nordic region and Germany. Travels are necessary and you need to be flexible regarding working hours and travelling times. You will report to Installations Team Leader.
The employment usually starts with a solid training period, typically held in Germany.


Requirements for position
Completed vocational training in a technical field
2-3 years of technical work experience
First experience in Construction Sites or Wind Industry
Good technical understanding
Ability to work at heights
Flexible regarding working hours and travelling times
Proficient with all MS Office applications and good Lotus Notes and SAP user skills
Good command of English in speech and writing and preferably knowledge of Swedish
EU Class B driving license
Travel readiness (international)

To be successful in this role we believe that you have a good understanding of installation works and experience of a variety of stakeholders. You have a well-structured, diplomatic and proactive approach, an independent work style and good organizational skills. In addition, you are determined, quality-conscious and able to make decisions. Furthermore, you have a flexibility in regards to traveling and working hours and are able to work at heights.
