We are looking for a dedicated Quality Launch Engineer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Quality team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in coordinating and driving fulfillment of quality activities across several Quality teams for product launch, improvements, or infrastructure projects. Furthermore, you will track and visualize action status, project status and critical path. Finally, you will be in charge of spearheading solutions for critical items.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leading and coordinating quality related topics during production launch including preparation of communication and documentation of meetings and results
Participating in production and project meetings
Interface and support customer quality and production quality teams
Support qualification and sampling activities before serial production release
Support PFMEA and control plan
Ensures the transfer of knowledge for the readiness of Quality department for serial production.
Participate in change management after initial production release as part of a cross functional team
Participate in lessons learned activities for serial production from new projects
Problem solving activities (8D) for customer claim and complaint. Support customer communication.

Skills & Requirements
Minimum Education / Experience Requirements
BSc/MSc degree in mechanical/chemical engineering or similar
Education in relevant quality discipline
Knowledge about quality tools: APQP, PPAP, SPC, process capability, MSA, 8D
Relevant work experience in serial production environments
Knowledge about product qualification processes and process releases in the automotive industry
Project management skills and a successful track record of leading quality improvement and qualification projects in manufacturing

Additional skills (desired, but not required)
Certification in Project Management
Six sigma training and hands-on experience

Specific skills (eg specific programmes, languages, certifications etc)
Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus
Highly organized and result-driven
Exceptionally good negotiation and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management
Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
Ability to work in a high profile and often high-pressured international environment
