We are looking for an experienced Quality Launch Manager to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Quality Team team based in Northvolt Ett. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing/ramping up quality topics across our manufacturing site and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.
About the job
As part of your job, you will be responsible for coordinating and driving fulfillment of quality activities across several quality teams for product launches, improvements, or infrastructure projects. Furthermore, you will track and visualize action status, project status, and crucial path, be in charge of driving solutions for crucial items, participate in cross-functional project teams and simultaneously drive different projects in order to meet customer requirements. More importantly, you will lead the implementation of a Quality mindset in launches.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leading and coordinating quality related topics during production launch including preparation of communication and documentation of meetings and results
Participating in production and project meetings
Interface and support customer quality and production quality teams
Support qualification and sampling activities before serial production release
Support PFMEA and control plan
Ensures MSA is validated on time
Participate in PPAP
Ensures the transfer of knowledge for the readiness of Quality department for serial production
Participate in change management after initial production release as part of a cross functional team
Participate in lessons learned activities for serial production from new projects
Problem solving activities (8D) for customer claim and complaint. Support customer communication
Plan project requirements and resources
React efficiently to changes from customer and product needs
Ensure Quality deliverables on time
Suggests KPI
Track defined KPI and tasks against project timing
Report about project status
Support other Q functions during project launch being the interphase with other departments
Ensure transfer of Quality lessons learned between projects
Support during internal and external Audits during the launch

Skills & Requirements
We believe that you have :
BSc/MSc degree in mechanical/chemical engineering or similar
Education in a relevant quality discipline
Knowledge about quality tools: APQP, PPAP, SPC, process capability, MSA, 8D
Relevant work experience in serial production environments
Work experience in launches
Work experience in project engineering
Knowledge about product qualification processes and process releases in the automotive industry
Project management skills and a successful track record of leading quality improvement and qualification projects in manufacturing
Bonus points for:
Certification in Project Management
Six sigma training and hands-on experience
