What we are doing?
Our agile release train (ART), Seats & Safety, is an ART within the solution Vehicle Tophat. We consist of 18 internal and external agile teams with the responsibility to develop mechanical hardware, electronics, software, and functions for the following products: Airbags, Steering Wheels, Seat Belts, Child Safety, and Seats.

We are now looking for a Quality Leader who wants to join us in our exciting journey to develop and keep our strong position in developing our seats and safety products. We are an agile organization under constant development, and you will have a great chance to make influence our way forward. We work in close cooperation within the ART but also with our network and this is a great opportunity for you to develop new relations. You will work in an environment that is prestigeless with a focus on what´s best for the ART´s components and systems. 

What will you do?
You will be mainly responsible for leading our most critical technical and quality investigations in the ART. You will work closely with Current Model Quality (CMQ) with the main focus on solving and leading technical problems and also securing the closed-loop process for future products. Also, you will be working closely with our Technical Specialists, System Architects, Product Owners, and Design Engineers by coordinating and creating close collaboration within the investigations at the ART. Further, you need to work closely with stakeholders and other ARTs both within your own and other Solutions.

Do you fit the profile?
We believe you have a Master of Science degree or equivalent relevant work experience.  We are looking for an experienced technical leader in the development of components, functions, systems, or attributes with good leadership and collaboration skills. To succeed in this role, we believe that you have broad knowledge about cars and product development in the VCAF as well as the DMAIC process and tools. Last but not least, you should be fluent in English and comfortable collaborating and presenting yourself and your projects on a global level. 
It is meritorious if you have experience in seats or occupant safety development or experience in leading critical quality investigations. 

Competence and experience are important, but personality is key!
We believe that you are curious and are a self-driven person who likes to do your own conclusion and deep-dive investigation based on input from field data and expert input. You are decisive, systematic, structured, and comfortable in defining work plans with different stakeholders. You should have a positive attitude, be proactive, and be a good team player. Furthermore, we believe you are able to build a strong Volvo Cars culture including continuous learning and knowledge sharing. Hence having a positive attitude and team spirit will play an important role in achieving your goals. Your strong communication skills will help you to excel in this role, make strong collaboration with connected partners, and together get to the best solutions.
