In this position, you are manager for a department with about 40 employees. The main tasks are to establish and maintain a customer centric quality culture in Swedish Robotics Operation. This includes controlling quality with systems, tools and develop teams to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations.
Reporting to the Quality Manager for Robotics in Sweden you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Operations Quality. This department consists of Supplier Quality, Production Quality and a Technical Center supporting all organization with advanced engineering support.
Your responsibilities
Foster a customer quality experience culture by making sure that the customer’s voice is represented in the local business
Preventing mistakes and defects in products and avoiding problems when delivering solutions or services to customers
Support product improvement (FFR reduction) by analyzing key field data such as warranty claims and other customer inputs
Focusing on preventing issues rather than just control, and driving the utilization of process management to deliver consistent results
Ensuring that effective internal controls are in place to verify that processes continue to meet requirements and that control plans are followed and effective
Perform audits and ensuring the use of analytics to identify risks, failures, and non-conformances, and ensuring that appropriate action is taken
Implement and develop systematic use of quality methodologies such as DMAIC, L6S etc.
Identify key areas for improvement and if necessary, start up and coach e.g. Green or Black Belt projects
Develop department capability e.g. by training and staffing
Your background
10 years of experience in Quality or other relevant fields
Leadership and managerial experience
Experience of working with highly complex products (mechanics, electronics, software, and systems)
Knowledge of Quality methodologies
Passion for customers in combination with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
M.Sc. or other relevant university degree
Fluent in Swedish and English
