In this position, you will establish and maintain a quality culture in Metallurgy Parts and Lorentzen & Wettre, controlling quality with systems, tools and teams to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations.
Reporting to the PG Manager, you will be in charge of developing and maintaining the quality management system, managing all aspects in line with guidance from ABB Group/division/business area.
You will also be responsible for the quality and operational development in our production. Placement for this role is Västerås or Stockholm.
Your responsibilities
Assist process owners and managers to implement good quality control tools and procedures in their processes
Working with the teams on quality analyzes, system support, implementation of procedures and performance metrics
Focusing on preventive quality measures to deliver consistent results
Responsible for defining and meeting the unit’s quality KPI
Ensuring that effective internal controls are in place to verify that processes continue to meet requirements and that control plans are followed and effective
Making sure that the customer’s voice is represented in the local business, and presenting the management team with customer experience feedback
Assisting the Engineering function with product data and evaluations, and validating APQP plans to ensure effective introduction of new products
Performing audits and ensuring the use of analytics to identify risks, failures and non-conformances, and ensuring that appropriate action is taken

Your background
5 years of experience in quality and/or production, working as quality manager, production development manager or equivalent
Sound knowledge of ISO standards, quality processes and tools is required
Knowledge of quality systems, processes and tools is required
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
A master´s of science in Industrial engineering and management, production or similar
English and Swedish
