About this opportunity


The Product Development QA is one department in the Quality Assurance sector that focuses on embedding a quality for speed mindset throughout PDU Radio and taking a customer-centric approach to release top quality products on time with a close to zero vision for HW returns and SW roll out blockers. The QA team leads the proactive quality activities to improve customer network availability and serviceability from early radio deployments thereby improving customer quality perception across all market areas


Our Exciting Opportunity!


You will as Quality Manager Lead portfolio level initiatives for improved Quality across all Radio products working in collaboration with our global development sites within PD Radio and outside, suppliers, and production.


The work will vary depending on the needs. We aim to:


Ensure PDU Radio acts timely & appropriately on market concerns with our portfolio.
Drive Quality get well plans to make them stick. Taking identified portfolio Quality shortcomings with the highest business importance and drive them across different functions inside/ outside PDU radio until proven resolved.
Help establish efficient WoW’s for complex challenges ex. NFF, supplier mgmt.
Ensure the radio portfolio Quality issues are handled with diligence in NTQF (Network Total Quality Framework) accompanied by an effective communication strategy across all impacted areas (PDU, GSU, Sourcing, CU, CES, etc)
The position is based in Kista and may require travel to other PDU Radio sites in Sweden, China and Canada as well as to customers and Ericsson supply sites and repair sites



You will


Manage Quality improvements initiatives across the radio portfolio until implemented
Set a communication strategy for the task in focus and ensure its execution
Contribute in driving internal efficiency and cost effectiveness via new- or alignment of existing ways of working across all radio design and supply sites globally
Strategically evolve the operations by participating in the Product Development Quality Assurance leadership team and closely co-operate with stakeholders, e.g. CES (Customer Engagement and support), sourcing, supply, CU’s/Customers and Design Centre managers globally
Ensure that the voice of the customer is spread within the PDU



To be successful in the role one you have


Several years of experience within R&D, Customer interaction or Product Management
Business and customer focused with emphasis on seeing the big picture and making decisions
Inspires change that can make impact across PDU radio & drive tangible change
Understands and influences Radio external orgs (e.g. CES/supply/services) to change
Can present on difficult topics in front of customers. Can act on behalf of Radio senior management
Mobile. Be present on sites, when needed, to fully identify and help resolve problems.
