We are looking for an experienced and innovative quality professional to join EMEA quality team as Quality Manager. The Person we are looking for enjoys working with people, providing trainings, and developing quality skills in our organization. We expect you to have broad experience from quality management and ability to coach our teams towards a higher quality maturity. The work will be to support our production workshops and our sales and project teams in quality related matters.
Another part of the work is to develop processes and lead different initiatives and improvement projects as needed. You will be an advocate for continuous improvement and for that great communication and networking skills are necessary.
Valmet EMEA business includes wide range of technologies covering the whole Valmet service offering. As part of EMEA quality team, the scope of your responsibilities is EMEA wide, and you have good possibility to positively impact Valmet quality performance towards our customers. You will be working closely with business supporting them in quality management and process development with your operational excellence, lean or six sigma experience.
Main responsibilities:
• Provide quality support, coaching and trainings to our EMEA organization
• Lead process improvement and implementation
• Participate or lead assigned quality development projects and development activities
• Facilitate root cause analysis and continuous improvement
• Contribute to quality communication
• Participate in EMEA quality reporting
Expectations:
To be successful in this position we expect you to have:
· At least 5 years of experience of quality management, business or operations development roles
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
· Experience from process development and preferably also IT solution development
· Practical experience from problems solving and use of quality tools (VSM, Lean, six sigma, SPC, RCA)
· Good understanding of quality management and ISO standards and experience from auditing
· Degree (BSc or MSc) on engineering or manufacturing
· Excellent project management and co-operation skills
· Availability and willingness to travel occasionally
