For our customer, we are now looking for a Quality Manager for a consultant assignment. Our customer has operations in heavy industry in the south of Stockholm. There may be some flexibility around the arrangement, but the assignment is expected to start in November 2017 with 50% until July 2018 and then 100% until May 2019.

Arbetsuppgifter
Our customer plans a shutdown in 2019 to perform service and maintenance work. This is a big project and preparations are already starting. As Quality Manager you are responsible for the operational shutdown being prepared and is implemented and delivered with the agreed level of quality regarding project planning and execution quality. The role does this by ensuring relevant routines are updated and conformed to by arranging training sessions.

Key responsibilities include:
- Securing that the project is being executed uniformly throughout the organisation by ensuring applicable work routines are being updated and implemented in the organisation.
- Ensure that the project is following agreed routines and investigate possible improvements by arranging internal audits of the planning and preparation work.
- Arranging that routines are available when needed by investigating requirements and plan quality activities accordingly.
- Ensuring routines are available by tracking validity dates and revise them when needed.
- Ensuring a safe unit start up by supervising updates.
- Ensure that investment projects are progressing sufficiently and that their preparations meet requirements by auditing the projects preparation and planning work.
- Ensure safe and quick handover of each unit from the refinery by making sure all necessary documentation and preparation activities are done and ready.
- Inform progress within the quality group by compiling reports and reporting at meetings.
- Ensuring that the project is being executed in accordance with rules and regulations by updating and implementing the quality strategy.
- Revise and complement quality routines when existing routines are insufficient.

- Ensuring that the Quality team is working efficiently, managing work distribution and solving issues.
- Support the team by promoting guidelines and work processes in order to achieve quick hand over of all units to the operations and a safe refinery startup.
- Achieve a good team spirit by promoting cooperation, dedication and proactivity.
- Support the project by estimating future work load and participate in the development of resource requirements curves.
- Ensure all members of the team for which this role is responsible has been informed and committed to the turnaround goals and KPIs in order to align the turnaround organisation.
- Report identified possibilities for improved project performance by filling in appropriate form and hand over to the responsible role for further action.


Utbildning/erfarenhet
To fit the role you have a degree in computer, mechanical or chemical engineering.
You have previous experience from quality controls and preferably experience from working with ISO-certified quality processes. Experience from working with quality processes during unit turnarounds is a merit. You must be fluent in English. Swedish is a merit.
As a person, you are communicative, structured and methodical. You have good understanding of work processes and their development. Well-developed people skills are essential and trong teamworking skills are required to work effectively in a project organization and team environment and establish/maintain effective working relationships
