Do you want to join our journey and lead Snap-on Equipment´s processes in Sweden in terms of quality and environmental assurance towards the overall objectives and values of the company as per Snap-on’s global policies? If you are, welcome to apply for this position!
As our Quality Manager, you manage and continuously improve the processes needed to assure compliance with Swedish external requirements in the areas of environment and quality. You coordinate internal work on management systems and related routines and lead the Quality & Environmental Department in Kungsör. You also monitor development of demands from authorities and customers related to product certification and adapt our processes accordingly and work in accordance with our company values and code of conduct.
Your department currently includes three associates. You report to the Director of Operations and are based at our key manufacturing site and distribution center in Kungsör, centrally located in Västra Mälardalen.
Your key competencies:
High level of understanding of ISO 9001 Quality System and ISO 14001 Environmental System, including being an experienced internal auditor
High level of understanding the Swedish legal environmental framework, production, supplier quality development, as well as global claims and warranty practices
Good generic technical skills in areas such as measuring technology, drawings, machine technology, materials and manufacturing
Leadership qualities capable of getting the best out of individuals in multiple sites and with mixed profiles
Strong communication skills with fluent business English and Swedish
