Every day Joint Academy connects thousands of patients with licensed physical therapists to deliver an online treatment for chronic joint pain. The treatment has strong underlying clinical evidence and is amplified through data science and a great product experience. Joint Academy was founded in Sweden 2014 and our vision is to become the global standard treatment.

Core responsibilities
Provide leadership and strategic direction in the on-going development, implementation and management of Joint Academy's compliance programs.
Drive (with support from employees and domain experts) our compliance efforts related to MDR, GDPR, ISO 27001 and other Medical Regulations
Lead the ongoing work of making sure we continue to stay compliant and up to date with new regulations.
Advocate and communicate the importance of risk management, and train personnel on relevant policies and processes.
Provide direction and counsel to the executive leadership team on compliance related questions and challenges.
Establish partnerships with external legal expertise when necessary

Your background
Compliance experience from the healthcare industry. Prior experience from MDR, ISO27001 and Privacy/GDPR is a huge plus.
Experience working with technical products in agile environments. Preferably software development.
Law School degree and experience working with legal questions in multiple markets
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with others in addressing complex issues involving multiple teams. Detail orientated with a structured approach to work.
Lead employee training sessions on legal and compliance issues.
Great communication skills at all levels of an organisation and the ability to promote a highly collaborative, data- and customer-driven culture within as well as outside of product teams
Professional fluency in English and Swedish
