Quality Manager for Ljunghäll AB in Vimmerby

We are now looking for a Quality Manager with the commitment, experience, and ability to take on and further develop our HSSEQQMS roadmap. For the right person, we offer an exciting role in an international environment.

WORKING TASKS
Ljunghäll is one of the leading companies within the high pressure die casting industry in Europe and the largest company located in Sweden. Our customers are significant companies within the automotive industry, with high standards and requirements.
The responsibilities of you as our Quality Manager are both strategic and operational within HSSQE (Health / Safety, Sustainability, Quality, Environment) and QMS (Quality Management System). As a member of our management team, you are a key person to lead and develop the work within your fields as well as driving process improvements within the company.

As our Quality Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the development of the company QMS. Furthermore, you have the overall responsibility for maintaining accreditations for ISO9001, ISO14001 and IATF16949, and that the laws and regulations are being followed within these areas. Implementing ISO 45001 is in our future planning.  


The Quality Manager role also includes developing our work based on a sustainable perspective and driving our climate work forward. As our Quality Manager you ensure internal audits being carried out accordingly as well as be the company's representative during external audits carried out by our clients or auditing companies. Responsible for KPIs and goals as well as for identifying and following up on actions and continuous improvements within your field.

The Quality Manager is a key person in our organization, acting as a driving force during customer and supplier meetings, but also collaborating with other departments within the company. You and your team will be supporting the product organization and be cooperating closely with the marketing department.


The budget and personnel responsibilities of the Quality Manager includes a knowledgeable HSSQE team of about 25 employees. You will have several direct reporting, but there are also subordinate managers.

Being part of a company group, we exchange best practices and collaborate amongst each other. The opportunities to pursue quality issues on an international level are therefore advantageous and for the right person, the responsibility of coordinating that exchange will be part of the role as Quality Manager.
The Quality Manager reports to the CEO.

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS AND QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role, we believe that you have a strong business acumen, are result-oriented and driven. You have the ability to build commitment and create an understanding of the requirements and goals which are set both internally and externally.
You have a relevant academic degree and several years of experience from a similar position as Quality Manager/HSSQE QMS Manager, preferably within the automotive industry.
We believe that you have an extensive knowledge of quality management and from standards such as ISO9001, ISO14001, preferably also from the quality standard IATF 16949. Experience of VDA6.3 or if you are a certified auditor, is highly deserving.
Leadership and managerial training or documented qualifications and experience of leading personnel is a requirement. We expect that you are used to working according to the LEAN/Kaizen methodology to organize and develop our work processes. You communicate freely in Swedish and English as English is our corporate language. Business trips are part of this position.
