Schenker Dedicated Services (SDS) is an independent, non-asset-based company within the DB Schenker Group delivering comprehensive logistics solutions (4PL) for large customers all over Europe. The Pan-European transports and networks are managed by dedicated Control Towers. SDS employs over 150 people in Gothenburg, Malmö, and Essen (Germany) and achieves more than 200 MEUR annual turnover.
Schenker Dedicated Services now offers a position as a Quality Manager & Head of Project Management Office in our Head Office at Mölndalsvägen in Gothenburg.
Tasks
As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for managing and following up on the Quality and Environmental performance of SDS and maintaining the company's ISO certification (ISO 9001/14001), e.g. by coordinating internal and external audits. You will also be involved in setting the quality and strategic objectives for SDS and in tracking the actions to accomplish these goals.
In addition, you will be the process owner for continuous improvement at SDS and in this capacity also support other process owners in developing their processes by offering your expertise in this domain.
As Head of the Project Management Office (PMO) it will be your task to create and further improve the tools and structure for managing projects and the project portfolio.
Your profile
You have strong process management skills and some years of experience in shaping processes and running projects of various sizes. You are a very structured and analytical person who is capable of designing and implementing pragmatic solutions. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships within the organization.
It is natural for you to work independently (self-running), show a positive attitude, and take responsibility if needed. Profound language skills in both Swedish and English (written and spoken) are prerequisites as SDS operates in an international environment daily. Preferably you have an academic education and a process development background (e.g. six sigma/lean).
