Quality Manager Procurement

Your role

You will be part of the Quality Governance team at BA Surveillance. We are a mixed group where everybody's opinion is valued and the differences make out the basis for our progress. As a Quality Manager, you will be the expert when it comes to quality management and operational development, supporting the Procurement organisation with improvement initiatives, as well as act as quality support for Line Managers, employees and the Category Management teams within the organisation. You will contribute in the development and drive of the quality strategy together with the line organisation.

You will report directly to Head of Quality Governance, and the Procurement Managers you interact with in your assignments.

You may also perform internal audits, either on your own or as part of an audit team.

As a Quality Manager, you will handle a wide range of tasks within the framework of quality management in all you assignments

As the procurement organisation is located in Järfälla, Huskvarna and Gothenburg you need to be able to travel and build good networks at all three sites.

The main tasks are:

* Support the line managers and the procurement organisation in quality related questions
* Participate in development of the long term quality strategy for the line organisation
* Support the managers and the line organisation in defining and meeting its targets and KPIs
* Advice and support the procurement managers to understand the standards and to meet the requirements defined in the standards
* Advice and support the line managers in knowledge of the management process
* Evaluate established ways of working, identify root causes and the areas with the best improvement potential
* Advice and support the managers and the Procurement line organisation with securing that the improvements are used and that the expected benefits are met
* Educate managers and employees within the organisation in quality topics
* Spread knowledge about Management System and processes within Procurement

Required skills:

* Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, Quality Management or other relevant experience
* Extensive knowledge of applicable standards for management systems such as ISO 9001, EN 9100, ISO 14001 and AQAP, etc.
* Very good analytical ability and experience within Systematic Problem Solving using Root Cause Analysis tools like 8D and 5Why, and implement Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA)
* Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, written and verbal
* The ability to work together with many different people and professions is a key to success
* You are curious and have a driving force to learn
* Driving, securing that the managers and the organization becomes successful
* Analytic to understand the root causes and bottlenecks and thereby identify the most important and most effective improvements
* Supportive to help the management and employees to become successful
* Communicative to give clear information about the needs to become successful
* Comfortable in meeting resistance. Resistance often happens when the message is clear and the quality manager need to be comfortable in handling these situations and turn them into successful change

Desired skills:

* Leadership experience as a project manager or line manager
* Experience of the Saab product portfolio

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions, requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
