Your role

You will work as a Quality Manager, with focus within BU Radar Solutions Software Development. You will support the Software Development within BU Radar Solutions with Quality Assurance activities, support the Management Teams with quality initiatives and support, as well as act as quality support for Line Managers and Employees within the organisation.

You will have assignments as Software Quality Assurance Engineer (SQAE) within projects and work in close interaction with BU Radar Solutions Project Quality Managers.



A Software Quality Assurance Engineer (SQAE) is an independent role, responsible for planning, execution and reporting of the software quality assurance activities during software development in projects.

You will be required to handle a wide range of tasks within the framework of quality management in all your assignments.

You will report directly to BU Radar Solutions Quality Director, Head of Quality & Flight Safety and the Design Responsible Managers you interact with in your assignments.

You will also perform internal audits, either on your own or as part of an audit team.



Your profile

You have a technical background (preferably within Software Development), with a thorough interest of quality assurance and operational excellence.

We think that you should have a well-developed drive and integrity, in order to fulfill the role as Quality Manager, since some quality actions may be challenging.

You have a coaching approach with good skills in change management and improvements.



Required skills:

Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or other relevant college education (preferably within Software Development)
*

Experience of Quality Assurance activities within Software Development
*

Audit experience
*

Experience of certification to standards ISO 9001 and/or EN9100
*

Good language skills in Swedish and English, verbally and in writing
*

The ability to work well with many different people and professions is a key to success and excellent communication skills is required



Desired skills:

*

Relevant education and experience within quality management
*

Knowledge of standards RTCA DO-278A and RTCA DO-178C
*

Experience of the Saab product portfolio
*

Configuration Management experience
*

Leadership experience
*

Coaching experience
*

Good knowledge of requirements according to TickITplus certification

Business Unit Radar Solutions have the business responsibility for AEW&C System, Fighter Radar & Data Links and Surface Based Radar Systems.
