Quality Navigator for Business Area lighting
IKEA of Sweden, Älmhult

Are you a specialist on Product quality and quality development? Do you want to use your analytical and communicational skills to create a better IKEA? Do you always have the end customer in mind, in your work and in the way you communicate? Then this might be just for you!

As Quality navigator you will drive and develop the quality development work in Business Area lighting, according to overall strategies and goals with the aim to secure product quality. You will be part of a group of specialists whose mission is to support our business teams. The quality navigator reports to the TQE (technique quality and environment) manager.

Assignments:
? Follow up on the quality performance of running, new and outgoing products and identify quality improvement areas using international quality tools (e.g. Six sigma/DMAIC methodology)
? Initiate and lead improvement initiatives in order to improve customer perceived product quality
? Secure that our stakeholders within the product development process receive relevant input on customer perceived quality to secure right from the beginning in the product development.
? Support the business teams on analysis of quality deviations using tools like root cause analysis and fish bone.
? Lead risk assessments (FMEA) and support on quality and safety related gate checks
? Perform relevant quality training within the BA
? Lead the work with establishing working methods that support us to improve customer perceived quality, e.g. how we work with quality feedback and home testing


To be successful in this role:
You need to have experience in related field of work with proven track record. You may have a university degree in engineering and/or production related working experience or corresponding knowledge. Knowledge in consumer products quality, experience in quality improvement tools and understanding of IKEA range, processes and customer needs is meritorious.
As a person you are analytical and have the ability to structure, organize and complete your work. You are driven and able to take the lead and motivate people in working on the quality agenda. You enjoy working closely with people and your communication skills help you to share knowledge and communicate in an inspiring way within a diverse and international environment.
