We are looking for a stellar Quality, Regulatory and R&D professional to join our team in Hammenhög. This position spans the entire range of activities to ensure that our ongoing operations comply with relevant quality and safety regulations, including entry on new markets. You will also have a key role in the development of our novel bio-active ingredients for advanced skincare and pharmaceutical candidates, both in-house and in collaboration with academic and industrial partners.
THIS ROLE IN BRIEF:
Develop and maintain relevant SOPs, QMS, certifications etc. for new skincare ingredients (from R&D over production to sales B2B), pharmaceutical candidates (R&D) and nutritional supplements (production and sales B2C).
Stability studies, batch analyses, product releases and documentation such as PDS, CoA; Contact person for B2B customers for quality and documentation related matters.
Supplier audits, internal and external quality inspections.
Quality and label certifications including new applications and recurring audits.
Part of R&D team and participate in all new product development activities in above areas.
Stand-in for Head of Algae Farms during absences etc.

QUALIFICATIONS IN BRIEF:
Scientific profile with strong background in biomolecular chemistry and microbiology at post-graduate level.
Solid professional experience from similar roles in the skincare, nutrition and/or pharma sector is a must. We are hiring you to teach us - not the other way around.
Solid understanding and the capacity to navigate the regulatory frameworks for skincare, food and pharma in the EU and US (HACCP/GMP/GLP etc) including relevant certifications and labels (Organic, COSMOS etc).
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders. This role involves a lot of teamwork and frequent contact with customers, partners, regulatory bodies and suppliers.
Strong IT skills and experience from a variety of cloud-based systems for documentation and collaboration. Previous experience from implementing LMS and similar are a bonus.
Good people and leadership skills. Above all, you are a person who takes initiative, assumes responsibility and gets things done.
Fluent in English at professional level, in both speaking and writing - a majority of our customers and partners are based abroad. Swedish will make your job easier with our national regulatory bodies. Additional languages are a bonus.
It is a requirement that you live in a 50 km radius from our farm & laboratory or are willing to move here. Hammenhög/Österlen is part of the greater Copenhagen region and one of the most beautiful areas on our planet.

Candidates with a strong industrial background in one of the required fields but not the other (e.g. HACCP/nutrition vs. GMP/biotech) will be considered, but we expect you to take full responsibility for expanding your professional skills were needed.
