Come join us accelerate the transformation of our campus to handle new technologies for sustainable transport solutions.
We’re a highly skilled and motivated team, responsible for many of the largest test facilities in the Volvo Group. It is a lot of fun and and rewarding if you want to contribute and make a difference.
There is a lot of work remaining to enable future technology verification and validation, to modify our facilities to meet the safety requirements of future technologies. and we can step up efforts, transition to sustainable transports faster, with your support.
About the position
We want you to manage the legislated environmental and safety inspections of our facilities.
Organize, plan and place order for the necessary inspections.
Follow up and catalogue protocols centrally, also lead the necessary improvements discovered.
This can be refrigerants, chemical storage, pressure vessels etc..
Participate in external audits and inspections.
We want you to contribute to the regular work environment rounds in our facilities.
Contribute with inspecting the facility and its work environment.
Place orders, follow up on improvement items, initiate working groups for larger items.
We want you to contribute in risk assessments for new technologies or new way of workings.
We want you take active part in the Technical Safety and Environmental network in the company.
Share knowledge, experience, improve.
We want you to help us take our work environment to the next level.
We want you to contribute in future facility plans to improve the work environment.
Desired qualifications and experience
We believe that you have an B.Sc., M.Sc. or similar relevant proven technical experience
Experience from test laboratory or industrial site, working environment, change management, 5S or lean management
Knowledge in proactive safety work, i.e. risk assessment etc.
Ability to perform safety audits within laboratories, follow up on corrective actions and implement corrective measures as appropriate
We require that you have working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.
