The Quality Specialist has a key role of supporting our production in achieving world class quality. Other key areas are to drive improvements internal and together with our suppliers, deploying and facilitating the quality culture in Motor Starting & Safety.
We have two available positions within our team! Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will support production and stakeholders with being in accordance to the quality management system, managing all aspects in line with guidance from ABB Group/division/business area. Candidates will be reviewed during the application period.


Your responsibilities
Being the Quality Specialist for the appointed area of products within Motor Starting & Safety
Accountable for that the quality level delivered to customers is in accordance to the state of arts and datasheets
Responsibility for supplier quality and driving continuous quality improvements of our suppliers
Accountable for manufacturing quality cost and responsibility for driving continuous quality improvements and problem solving
Lead quality investigations on issues
Responsibility for PPAP and approving deviations for suppliers
Being the “voice of customer” and “voice of quality” in our organization



Your background
Several years of experience in working with quality
Sound knowledge of drawings, quality methodologies and PPAP
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
A Master of Science in engineering
Knowledgeable in electronics
Fluent in Swedish and English in written and spoken form
