Purchasing and Logistics Area North is part of IKEA Supply and is responsible for different business units across the IKEA value chain. The role of Purchasing and Logistics is to supply the IKEA range at the lowest total cost, making high quality available to the customer under good social and environmental conditions.

As Quality Specialist your function will be to support both business teams and suppliers in the IKEA Quality GO/NOGO standard implementation process. You will verify compliance against requirements, standards and ways of working to deliver products satisfying customer expectations in all aspects of IKEA design, this way contributing to global business success.
About the assignment
Plan and perform audits according to IKEA standards working instruction.
Plan, perform audits and execute assessments according to IKEA standards working instruction as well as quality part of purchasing manual.”?
Support the business teams and suppliers in implementing the containment and corrective actions.
Lead the product gate check before first delivery and secure four eyes principles.
Lead global/local projects related to quality.
Coach and train business teams and suppliers in the IKEA quality standards as well as in utilization of problem solving tools in the daily work and specifically related to quality deviations.
Qualifications
We believe that you are a person with the ability to deliver results through involving, leading and inspiring people - acting as a coach and mentor. You are able to lead business with a holistic and analytical view, always act with the customer, supplier, total IKEA and quality in mind.
We also see that you have/are:
Very experienced working with project management tools and methodology.
Deep understanding of customer needs and expectations regarding function and customer friendliness.
Deep knowledge of different Quality tools, like e.g. 5 why, FMEA, fish bone, root cause analysis, statistics knowledge, etc.
Auditing skills and natural leadership.
Knowledge of production and operation processes.
Knowledge of Product and Chemical Compliance requirements.
