The Capacitors and Surge Arresters department within High Voltage Products in Ludvika is in an expanding phase. As Hitachi Energy’s top priorities are Health, Safety, Environment and Quality a natural part of the expansion is to strengthen the Quality department. We are now looking for a Quality Specialist to join our dedicated team.
The Quality department interacts throughout the organization, locally and globally, on a daily basis with high visibility and enables it to perform at its very best. This is done by identifying and driving improvement initiatives, monitoring performance and taking subsequent action.
You will support the organization in driving improvement projects and actions, allowing it to reach accomplishments otherwise not achievable. You will enable the identification of activities that truly remedies and prevents issues instead of just addressing the immediate symptoms. You will be in contact with global stakeholders and implement tools and processes allowed by harmonization on global scale.
To be suitable for this role, you should be a person who gets things done, while still appreciating the need for a structured approach. Due to the cross-functional nature of the role, wider experience from manufacturing operations and project execution, or similar, is desirable.
Your responsibilities
Supporting the organization in driving improvement activities preventing quality issues
Performing high quality root cause analysis and identifying preventive actions
Managing customer feedback in a structured and efficient manner
Maintaining and take ownership of Quality management systems
Visualizing quality performance to drive issue resolution and continuous improvement
Driving local implementation of global quality initiatives
Your background
You hold a university degree in technical, logistics or similar fields
Proficient level of Swedish and English
Proficient skills in MS word and Excel
A driven personality
Strong planning and prioritizing skills
You have solid communication and influencing skills to address and build trust with people on different organizational levels
Experienced in QHSEE work is a merit, but a driven personality will take you a long way
